December 24, 2013
Well, with Christmas Eve right upon us and the shopping hopefully done, I thought I would give some last minute advice to the men out there hoping to make this Christmas one of the very best for the woman in their life. In fact, this advice is not just good for Christmas, it is good year-round. But since it is Christmas and since Christmas can be very hectic, here are two sure fire presents every woman would want for Christmas...and the good news men, they won't cost you a dime!

Keepin’ Things Real:  Peace on Earth - the promise of Christmas

December 17, 2013
I (Jena) just recently went and visited a dear friend who just had her first baby. Beautiful, tiny, sweet, and gentle, this new baby left me in awe as I looked at the wonder of new life. This time of year the cold air and the warm comforter is an enticing call to hit the snooze button and stay in bed a little longer. On top of that, the day you are about to go into seems less than exciting. You wonder, is a great day even possible? In the midst of the routine and the mundane with a "to do" list longer than the hours available it

Keepin’ Things Real:  Spiritual Fatigue and grasping for air

November 14, 2013
So our family started a new work out program called T25. Let me just say, while we love it, it has been hard. It is 25 minutes of non-stop exercise. By the time we are done, we are fatigued and grasping for air. I think sometimes this also happens to us spiritually. Let's face it, spiritual fatigue happens to all of us. There are just days were things are just not clicking spiritually. Your prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling back into your lap, God seems silent, the scriptures seem dry
